Thank you for volunteering to help out with this year's Carols on the Common. Please assist by filling in the form on the left to help us schedule you appropriately.
If you register and can't make it we don't mind but we really want to know. Please email woodmal50@hotmail.com or call 0400 803 417, or re-fill the form with your apology in the comments.
We particularly need strong, able people to help with the setting up and packing up phases of the event - the more helpers we have the quicker this can be done. If you can't help with the heavier tasks, there are several other tasks that may suit you better. Here's a rough schedule of what we will be doing:
Saturday 12 December
- Setting up carpark fences: 3:00pm - 5:00pm
Sunday 13 December
- Morning set up: 10:00am - 12:00pm
- Afternoon preparation: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
- Sponsors VIP tent hosting assistance: 4:00pm - 10:00pm
- Top car park - directing cars and collecting payments: 3:00pm - 10:00pm
- Bottom car park - directing cars: 3:00pm - 10:00pm
- Bucket collection: 7:00pm
- Raffle ticket sales: 4:00pm - 8:30pm
- Kidzone helpers: 4:00pm - 8:30pm
- Event pack up: 9:00pm - 11:00pm (the more people we have for this the earlier we can finish)
At about 7:00 pm we will be running a bucket collection to raise money for ROMAC from people who are around in the evening.
