Ticketing FAQs

Why are we charging $5.00 + booking fees as Ticket Donation Fee?
This fee is a donation that is used to provide a fair system for ticket acquisition. As we need to restrict numbers this year, we want to ensure people who are keen to attend are prioritised with tickets, not people who may not show up. A ticket system is also being used this year as a second layer to ensure we can contact trace all attendees with ease along with our mandatory QR Code Check in. This donation fee also includes a surcharge that is paid directly to Event Brite for processing your payment.
Why are we charging $15.79 for parking Donation Fee (includes admission for 1 person)
Parking is limited for our event. If you do wish to drive and park on site, you must purchase a parking ticket per car. This ticket includes 1 person admission. This donation fee also includes a surcharge that is paid directly to Event Brite for processing your payment.
What happens if the event is cancelled?
In the unlikely event we must cancel the event, there will be no refunds on ticket fees as these are classified as a donation to Rotary, therefore please consider this before you purchase your tickets.
Is BYO Alcohol Allowed?
No. If you do intend to drink, great value alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the bars located within North Ryde RSL Sports Club. (Members also get 10% off!)
Will there be rides?
Of course!
Will there be food?
Yes, a great variety of food vendors will be present on the night.
Will there be fireworks?
To be mindful of residents in the area, we have chosen to forgo fireworks. Instead an exciting and interactive digital light show will be happening. 2000 LED Light bracelets will be handed out on the night.
Is there a safety and security plan?
Yes. We have consulted and created a safety plan with the SES, NSW Police, Ryde Council, RMS and event planners. First AID will be on site.
Who is running this event? Like every year, our Rotary Clubs of North Ryde and Macquarie Park Committee volunteers have co-ordinated this event.
Why has the location changed?
To ensure we can control crowd numbers inline with NSW Government rules, a gated location has been selected, the use donated generously by North Ryde RSL. North Ryde Common was not a feasible location this year due to the open and easily accessible nature of the field.
Is this event wheelchair accessible and disability friendly?
Yes, the event is wheelchair accessible, we also have disabled toilets on site in an easy accessible area near the field.
